Startup Weekend joins the Founder2be Global Alliance Program!

We told you, this was going to be a week full of exciting announcements. Just in case anyone has not heard of Startup Weekend before (really?):

Startup Weekend is a global network of passionate leaders and entrepreneurs on a mission to inspire, educate, and empower individuals, teams and communities.

Marc Nager, Clint Nelson, Franck Nouyrigat and their entire team have been scaling Startup Weekend around the world since 2009. By now, there probably has not been a major city which has not yet been host to one of their events: 54h during which teams take ideas from initial thought to startup.

When Marc and I spoke, it was clear immediately that we have to do something together. He said:

“I love the problem that Founder2be is solving. Startups are about the people, not just the ideas, and finding a co-founder and team is the single largest hurdle for people looking to launch something they are passionate about.”

This is what Founder2be is about: Finding the right people to turn ideas into reality.

True to the spirit of the Global Alliance Program, we sincerely hope that every single founder2be will go and attend a Startup Weekend. Find your co-founder, go there together, and take your idea to launch in 54h. And if you don’t find a co-founder online before, promise us to go anyways: You will find one for the weekend guaranteed. It will be the experience of a lifetime.


And we are not done yet. Far from it! The Founder2be Global Alliance Program is continuing to expand to all corners of the world. We are looking to help prospective entrepreneurs by getting them in touch with our alliance members to help them succeed with their ideas and startups.
