China is the second most powerful economy in the world. Mary Meeker’s recent presentation Internet trends highlights China’s increasing dominance not only in manufacturing of goods, both basic and high tech, but also in the ever more important Internet businesses. 2 out of the top 10 Internet businesses are Chinese with the Baidu being the biggest one at 5th position just behind Apple, Google, Amazon and Facebook. Tencent with a market capitalization of USD 40B+ is 7th in the top ten.

This success spurs the ambition of Chinese entrepreneurs who are working hard and are eager to take more positions in the top ten.
